Had a fantastic time with friends! The host was super helpful and suggested great eats nearby. We dined at a lovely restaurant and a cozy cafe. The breakfast was cooked to order and always delicious. So close to the center, just a 10-minute walk to the lake. Highly recommended!
The only downside was that the rooms felt a bit cramped with our luggage, but we managed. It would be good to plan around that if you're traveling with a lot of bags.

The Strathmore offers superb breakfast quality and stunning mountain views, complemented by Paul's attentive service. Although our top-floor room felt a bit cool initially, a quick adjustment made it perfectly comfortable. Definitely a charming experience worth revisiting.

Lovely stay with fab hosts
We had an awesome time! Paul was super friendly and gave us great tips on where to hike. The room was cozy and clean, with a lovely view of the church. Breakfast was to die for, with local produce. One thing tho, the room was a bit small for our liking, but it didn’t ruin our trip!

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the peaceful garden where I could unwind with a good book and the comfortable lounge for cozy evenings. The breakfast options were fab, and the room was a bit chilly at first, but I just cranked up the radiator and was fine after that! If you're looking for a friendly place to relax, this is it. 😊

Absolutely loved the breakfast! Freshly made with a variety of options that kept us fueled for our hikes. The only downside was the tight stairs to our Twin Room, but totally worth it! 🥞

great stay but minor room issues
The breakfast selection was impressive, particularly the delicious full English that was served piping hot. The host was exceptionally accommodating, quickly providing an iron and a phone charger when needed.
The room had a slight musty smell that was a bit off-putting.

We had a wonderful stay with fantastic breakfasts every morning, including a full English. Paul was super friendly and made us feel right at home, especially with our two small kids. The location was perfect for exploring Keswick, just a short walk to everything.
My children wished for more toys in the common area.
